SSB interview

Administrations Selection Board Interview (SSB Interviews), likewise called as "Knowledge and Personality test" is directed by SSB Board, Ministry of Defense. The individuals who clear the principal stage (Either CDS or NDA) need to go through SSB interviews, spread over a time of 5 days.

This stage contains two sub-stages.

STAGE – A

Stage one determination framework incorporates the accompanying:-

A. Knowledge Test (verbal and nonverbal).

B. Picture Perception and Description Test Picture are streaked for 30 seconds. The time for story composing is four minutes.

STAGE – B

It involves mental tests, bunch tests, and gathering errands. These three tests are led on three continuous days.

1. Psychological Tests

Topical Apperception Test: 12 Pictures including one clear are shown. Applicants are approached to compose a story around what prompted the circumstance? What is happening and what might be the result? Each picture is displayed for 30 seconds and up-and-comers are approached to compose it quickly. In the clear slide, they need to think an image voluntarily and compose a story around that.

Word Association Test: In this test, a progression of 60 words is displayed to the applicants consistently for 15 seconds each. The applicant is needed to record the primary idea or thought that strikes a chord.

Circumstance Reaction Test: This test comprises 60 routine life circumstances in regards to everyday exercises. The circumstances are imprinted in a booklet and the competitor is approached to compose his responses by finishing the sentences, with respect to how they would feel, think and act in these circumstances.

Self-Description Test: The candidate is approached to compose five separate passages on every setting about the assessment of his folks/gatekeeper, companions, instructors/bosses.

     2.  Group Tests

      GTO – Day 1 This incorporates the accompanying:-

Bunch Discussion: Two subjects of normal interest (social issues and recent developments) are examined. It is a casual conversation and not a discussion. Every theme is distributed 20 minutes each. No clear end is needed to be found.

Bunch arranging exercise: It involves five phases viz., clarification of the model, perusing of the account by GTO, five minutes for self-perusing by applicants, 10 minutes for individual composed arrangements, and 20 minutes for bunch conversation. 3.  Group Tasks

Order Task: Each individual is selected as a leader for one undertaking comprising of one hindrance like the Progressive Group Task Time allowed is 15 minutes.

Last Group Task: Task comprising of one obstruction like the Progressive Group Task. The time given to finish this responsibility is 15 - 20 minutes
