NDA Eligibility Criteria

The National Defense Academy (NDA) tests are directed for confirmation in Army, Navy, and Air Force as an official post. And this exam is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in April and September of every year. The Supreme Court of India has passed an order in August 2021 which allow unmarried woman’s candidates to appear for the National Defence Academy (NDA).3 Param Vik Chakra recipients and 12 Ashoka Chakra recipients are included in the alumni of NDA. The current heads of staff of the Navy, the Airpower, the Army are all NDA graduated class from a similar course. After completing your NDA exam the candidates go to respective service academies for pre-commissioning training. The National Defense Academy is situated in Khadakwasla close to Pune, Maharashtra. Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Age Limit for NDA (I) 2022: Only unmarried up-and-comers conceived not sooner than July 2, 2003, and not later than July 2, 2006, are qualified.
  2. Physical Criteria:
  1. Competitors should be truly and intellectually fit for admission to National Defense Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (I), 2022. Consistently, many competitors neglect to qualify in the clinical trial. Thus, competitors are encouraged to get themselves restoratively analyzed prior to applying for the assessment.   1. For Naval Candidate:

  3. Cutoff points of Myopia – 0.75
  4. Cutoff points of Hypermetropia +1.5
  5. Binocular vision III
  6. Cutoff points of shading discernment I
  1. For Air Force
  1. Up-and-comers who are wearing displays constantly are not qualified for Air Force. As per the authority sources, the base far off vision 6/6 of everyone eye and 6/9 in other, correctable to 6/6 just for Hypermetropia. Shading vision CP-I Hypermetropia: +2.0 D Sph Manifest Myopia: Nil Retinoscopic Myopia: 0.5 in any Meridian allowed Astigmatism: + 0.75 D Cyl (inside + 2.0 D.Max) Maddox Rod Test.
  1. Physical Conditioning:
  1. Running 2.4 km quickly
  2. Skipping
  3. Pushups and sit-ups (least 20 each)
  4. Jawline ups (least 08)
  5. Rope climbing 3-4 meters.
  1. Nationality  Criteria:
  1. a Citizen of India, or
  2. a subject of Nepal, or
  3. a subject of Bhutan, or
  4. a Tibetan outcast who approached India before January 1, 1962, with the goal of for all time getting comfortable India, or
  5. an individual of Indian beginning who has relocated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the expectation of forever getting comfortable India.
  1. Educational Criteria:
  1. For Army Wing of National Defense Academy: The competitors should have the Class 12 pass of the 10+2 example of School Education or identical assessment led by a State Education Board or a University.
  2. For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defense Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: The competitors should have the Class 12 pass of the 10+2 example of School Education or identical with Physics and Mathematics led by a State Education Board or a University.
